About Christine

My name is Christine Mathias Farnum and I’ve been staging homes for Davis and the neighboring communities since 2005. Staging started as a hobby for me as I enjoyed helping friends ready their homes for sale; it has evolved into a thriving consulting practice. I enjoy every aspect of home staging.

I’ve lived in Davis since 2000, moving here with my young family from the Detroit area. I love the Central Valley of Northern California, and am thankful every day for its beautiful blue skies and warm weather! I’ve lived in Davis longer than anywhere else in my life, and happily call my adopted town “home.” It’s a thrill to be able to contribute to the wellbeing of my community and surrounding towns with my business.

Davis Staging is a boutique staging business; you’ll always be dealing with me, the owner. Your home will receive my time and attention, and I understand that no two homes are alike. Even two homes on the same street with the same floor plan will require different staging, due to variances in flooring, wall colors, fixtures, natural light, etc. That’s what makes this business so gratifying!

I also understand the needs and challenges facing homeowners, real estate agents, builders, and investors when listing a home for sale; I love being a part of the team that presents homes so that it’s next owner falls in love with it the moment they lay their eyes on it. So whether a home needs assistance with a large scale renovation to update it for market, is vacant and needs every room outfitted with furniture and accessories, or a homeowner simply needs advice on how to declutter and rearrange furniture, I’ve got the experience.
